Plavchak Construction is a union General Contractor, involved in commercial construction. Founded in 1982, Plavchak Construction has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. We are based out of Elizabeth, PA, about 25 minutes south of downtown Pittsburgh.
Much of our work is through various bids or requests for proposals from government, educational, industrial, institutional, and other various public organizations. We also work in the private sector for various business's in industries such as retail, restaurants, medical fields, and offices. In addition, we are able to offer full design-build services for both new construction as well as build-outs of existing space.
Our primary concentration of self performed work includes excavation, site utilities, framing, carpentry, finishes, and concrete. In addition, we are heavily involved in sports lighting and field construction and offer crane and drilling services.
Service Area
We frequently bid on and complete projects locally within the City of Pittsburgh and throughout Allegheny County. In addition we actively bid and surrounding areas such as Washington, Westmoreland, Beaver, Butler, Armstrong, Fayette, and Greene Counties.
We are also willing to provide pricing and bids on certain projects outside of Southwestern Pennsylvania, having traveled as far as State College, Erie, Homer City, Johnstown, and even West Virginia, Ohio, and New York.
